Lovely but not quite as it seems

From the picture this lamp looks opaque white which is why I bought it. Actually when it arrived it is a clear and white pattern and the wick can be seen through the lamp. I still think it's lovely and intend to keep it but just a warning that it doesn't look exactly as the picture suggests!
