After launching our Wild Things collection in 2017, we were keen for the success of our bright, beautiful wildlife designs to give back to the animals which inspired them. Wild Things has already made an impact on the fragrance world, garnering award nominations from Gift of the Year and the Fragrance Foundation, and we’re dedicated to making an impact on the natural world too. With high-quality impactful fragrances, the collection aims to capture the weird and wonderful spirit of the natural world around us, but that inspiring spirit is constantly under threat from deforestation, poaching and environmental issues. We’ve pledged to support the work of the UK-based charityThe Big Cat Sanctuary*with a donation of 20% of profits from sales of our jaguar design Born With Cattitude products. The Big Cat Sanctuary’s very own Maya the Jaguar, star of BBC2’s documentary seriesBig Cats About the Housewas the inspiration for our Born With Cattitude design so it seems to only fitting for us to donate to the wonderful charity that’s given her a home.
Set in the heart of the English countryside, The Big Cat Sanctuary provides a peaceful home for over 50 endangered big cats as well as a specialised centre of research to improve our knowledge of the majestic creatures they house. Experts in the breeding of big cats, the Sanctuary is helping to ensure the survival of these magnificent animals, many of which are threatened by endangerment through deforestation and poaching. The initiatives undertaken at The Big Cat Sanctuary, including co-ordinated breeding, contributions to frontline conservation strategies and the welfare of the sanctuary’s resident cats, are vital to saving some of the most endangered and iconic species on the planet from extinction.
