Home fragrance can play a huge part in helping you escape reality for a short while and allowing your imagination to run wild.

Here are some ideas of things you can try with a loved one from your household or on your own, to create your own personalised spa at home experience.

Method 1 - Light a Fragrance Lamp

Benefits - Avocado is loaded with vitamin E, healthy fats, and antioxidants to help keep skin smooth. ... Honey helps brighten the skin and also thoroughly cleanse with its natural antibacterial/antimicrobial properties.


  • 1/4 ripe avocado
  • 1 teaspoon of plain yoghurt
  • ½ teaspoon of honey

Step 1: Mix all the ingredients into a bowl and stir them well until you get a paste of uniform consistency.
Step 2: Apply the mask onto your skin for 10-15 minutes or until it dries out.
Step 3: Rinse off with warm water

Pick and choose from any of the methods above to give yourself some self-care and a quick pick me up. Alternatively, if you are feeling adventurous, you could spend the whole day at your home spa and treat yourself in every way possible. You can start by enjoying breakfast in bed followed by spending the rest of the day in your dressing gown or pyjamas. Why not paint your nails or shape your eyebrows, whilst listening to some calming music. Take a break from the treatments to read a good book or enjoy a restful nap.
